Get your voice ready, get your heart ready and get your friends on speed dial for one of the greatest nights in 2010 …..JUST WORSHIP is only weeks away!!!
On August 20 – Friday night here in our city campus, we will be again hosting this extraordinary night where the streets of Northbridge and indeed the ‘heavens’ over Perth, will resound with the exaltation, celebration and Worship of our King and Saviour –Jesus. We’re very excited about this years JUST WORSHIP event as we will be running 2 programs so we can fit as many of Perth’s passionate worshippers in. (Probably 6:30pm and 8:30pm) We’ve had amazing nights in past years with DARLENE ZSCHECH, REUBEN MORGAN, MARTY SAMPSON and THE PARACHUTE BAND. These guys are in demand all over the globe and come to us directly off the heels of their U.S national tour where they’ve been filling Stadiums. What I love about this event is that it isn’t a concert – but rather, an up-close and ‘long-play’ opportunity to encounter God and allow our souls to be saturated with His presence. True Worship extends beyond the ‘vertical’ and finds practical and life impacting expression through the ‘horizontal’ outworking of Jesus mission – To love mercy and Justice. Already, tens of thousands of dollars have been raised to support the strategic work in Transform Cambodia, Hope Rwanda and World Vision. Just Worship 2010 will be partnering with VIETNAM OUTREACH to assist thousands of beautiful little Vietnamese children in there battles against deformity, disfigurement and cancer. Pastor Geoff Woodward will be giving us all the opportunity and privilege of becoming a part of the answer for these little lives and as little as $250 can pay for a cleft-lip operation or wheel chair or cancer treatment. It is going to be huge, Metro, so please put Friday 20th August in your diary and get ready to either serve in one of our fabulous teams or get there early to bring your love and energy for God so we can – JUST WORSHIP together!!
